LCIFF invites you to a screening of SONGS MY BROTHERS TAUGHT ME, a compelling and complex portrait of modern day life on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.
The screening will be followed by a short discussion moderated by Valerie Craigwell White, Ombudsman at Lewis & Clark College.
About the Moderator
Valerie Craigwell White is working as an ombuds at Lewis & Clark College. She was trained by the International Ombudsman Association (IOA) and as a member of that organization, she is guided by the the IOA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. Valerie has extensive professional experience in working with people who struggle with workplace challenges.
In addition to her previous work at Lewis & Clark where she has both taught and served in administrative positions, Valerie has coached individuals and consulted with a variety of organizations interested in working more effectively. She also brings expertise in working with the influence of culture perspectives in lives and workplaces, both in the US and internationally.
